Once again it is rumored that they want to close one of the three elementary schools; they plan to move the jr high school out to the high school and close one school but for now they won't say which one.

So we have to guess which one:

Last time it was either West or Central and rebuild East.

What has changed?

In my opinion it will be the one built not the one standing. Edwardsport will require the most work as it needs to be replaced; so the most collections. The other two only need some repair and that doesn't create a new tax incentive does it. I guess I expect that the closing part is between Central and West. So West has the most room as Central is basicly closed in on all sides by either housing or streets, common sence would be to close Central but they are usually short on sence so I would say all things considered they will want to close West. If it is Central then the City of Bicknell and every citizen of Bicknell should take notice and action to remove any school board member who favors it.

Time will tell.
