The City of Bicknell has been awarded a Neighborhood Stabilization grant worth $1.3 million!

The grant spans 4 years and will improve 4 different neighborhoods.

3rd and Main Street is an eyesore that the city seems to be ignoring. What is not clear in the picture is that the bricks above the plywood is leaning out dangerously and will soon fall to the sidewalk below and I'm pretty sure that the plywood frame below it will not stop it from blowing out into the street where it is a threat to both cars and people who may be going past it. This is something that the mayor and council needs to address as soon as possible otherwise there could be lawsuites.

As can be seen the building next to City Hall is coming apart. Brick and concrete appears to be preparing to fall to the sidewalk. I believe that the city ownes this building.

When one building was torn down the old stair case was left to hang on the side of the old bank building. It appears to be falling apart and is a danger for people walking near it. I can see no reason why the city allows this to just hang there for at least the last 2 or 3 years.
