Constitution Day - Judge John E. Jones

John Edward Jones III is an American lawyer and jurist from the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. A Republican, Jones was appointed by President George W. Bush as federal judge on the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania in February 2002 and was unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate on July 30, 2002. He is best known for his presiding role in the landmark Kitzmiller v. From Senator Hume

July 27, 2010

Dear Mr. Stanczak,

Thank you for contacting me regarding the Arizona Immigration Law.  During the past few sessions Senator Mike Delph has filed similar legislation here in Indiana and it is my guess the Senator Delph will once again introduce legislation for the upcoming 2011 legislative session that will be shaped to closely mirror what was done in Arizona. This will be a high profile piece of legislation and will be closely monitored. I strongly believe that it should also reflect some changes in the restrictions and consequences for businesses, who recruit, import and hire illegals.

Sincerely,

Lindel Hume
State Senator
District 48
