He views our current president as the catalyst for what has really been going on for the past 100 years or so and not as the start of anything that is new, since around the time before Teddy Roosevelt.  
 
  A friend of mine received this email. He wasn't sure it was for real so he went to Snopes and they had no reference to it, so he emailed this guy, Gary Hubbell, to see if he wrote it.

Barack Obama is the best thing that has happened to America in the last 100 years. Truly, he is the savior of America 's future. He is the best thing ever.

Despite the fact that he has some of the lowest approval ratings among recent presidents, history will see Barack Obama as the source of America 's resurrection. Barack Obama has plunged the country into levels of debt that we could not have previously imagined; his efforts to nationalize health care have been met with fierce resistance nationwide; TARP bailouts and stimulus spending have shown little positive effect on the national economy; unemployment is unacceptably high and looks to remain that way for most of a decade; legacy entitlement programs have ballooned to unsustainable levels, and there is a seething anger in the populace.

Yep!  That's right!  Only Eight Percent, the least by far of the last 19 presidents!!  And these people are trying to tell our big corporations how to run their business?  They know what's best for GM... Chrysler... Wall Street... and you and me?  
 
How can the president of a major nation and society... the one with the most successful economic system in world history... stand and talk about business when he's never worked for one or about jobs when he has never really had one??!  And neither has 92% of his senior staff and closest advisers!  They've spent most of their time in academia, government and/or non-profit jobs... or as "community organizers"  when they should have been in an employment line.

I do not understand, Obama said some time back that he would shrink the unemployment in America by sending out the stimulus checks and by bailing out the auto industry and so on and so forth; So I ask, just why was there a need to extend the unemployment for those who ran out?

Is this a sign that maybe Obama's plan didn't work? Am I the only American that thinks this way?

At any rate the Americans are still out of work and believe me I know plenty who are looking for jobs and can't find any!

I'm 63.  Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I've worked, hard, since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven't called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn't inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there's no retirement in sight, and I'm tired. Very tired.

Do you think it would be possible for the city to furnish the transportation and the home owners furnish the labor to rid the town of all the rubbish in the yards and on the front porches?

Like most towns do and I have lived in several that have adopted this practice, they have a trash pick up day a couple times a year and you are allowed to put anything at the curb to be disposed of on these designated days.

This would work for those who do not have the money to dispose of the trash they have accumulated over the years.

The town could even ask the churches to ask the men and women of their congregations to help the elderly and disabled.

I see that this would give the town a chance to pull together and once again have a town they all can be proud of.

Obama's qualifications for the presidency, the group "Americans for Freedom of Information" has released copies of President Obama's college transcripts from Occidental College . Released today, the transcript school indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the Occidental College. Released today, in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign
students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program.
 

To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship.

This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of
Obama's detractors have been seeking. Along with the evidence that he was
first born in Kenya and there is no record of him ever applying for US
citizenship, this is looking pretty grim. The news has created a firestorm
at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama's legitimacy and qualification to serve as President article titled, "Obama Eligibility Questioned," leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama's first official visit to the U.K. In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama's legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey . This lawsuit claims Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president.
Donofrio's case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama's citizenship or qualification to serve as president.
