The public is invited to this FREE Contra Dance at the Old Town Players Theatre, 432 Broadway in Vincennes. The dance is hosted by the Vincennes Colonial/Contra Dance Group. In addition to Contra dancing the group will offer instruction on Cajun dancing with the aim in mind to be well prepared for the Mardi Gras Celebration coming up later in February in Vincennes. Contra dancing is an older cousin to square dancing and is easier and just as much fun. Friday February 5th is the date with instruction at 7 pm and Contra from 7:30 to 9:30.
